چکیده
The present paper introduces the sloshing effects on aeroelastic stability and response of flying wing configurations. Using reduced order model based data provided by computational fluid dynamics data, description slosh is introduced into an integrated modelling that accounts for both rigid elastic behaviour flexible aircraft. fully unsteady aerodynamics, modelled in frequency domain via doublet lattice method, recast time-domain state-space form through rational function approximation. reference aircraft Body Freedom Flutter equipped with a single tank cylindrical geometry, partially filled water, located underneath center mass. results analyses are compared frozen case final aim showing how movement affects complete behaviour.

متن کاملREDUCED-ORDER AERODYNAMIC MODELS FOR AEROELASTIC CONTROL OF TURBOMACHINES by KAREN
Aeroelasticity is a critical consideration in the design of gas turbine engines, both for stability and forced response. Current aeroelastic models cannot provide highdelity aerodynamics in a form suitable for design or control applications. In this thesis low-order, highdelity aerodynamic models are developed using systematic model order reduction from computational uid dynamic (CFD) methods. ...

متن کاملNonlinear Aeroelastic Analysis of Joined-wing Aircraft
Joined-wing aircraft are being designed for ‘sensorcraft’ configuration. Joined wings lead to multiple load paths and constraints. The focus of this work is to understand the nonlinear structural as well as aeroelastic behavior of joined wings. The paper presents a formulation for the nonlinear aeroelastic analysis of joined wings. Results are presented for two joined wings configurations. Over...
